Turn Up the “Volume” on SLATIN and KG Man’s New Single

SLATIN returns to Insomniac’s IN / ROTATION imprint with a high-intensity single, "Volume." The Spanish/Russian house extraordinaire first appeared on the IN / ROTATION label with two-track “Spritzer” back in 2018. This was the perfect introduction of his modular house style, putting his affinity for analog kit front and center. He followed things up a year later with “Cake” with vocalist Blak Trash. “Volume” is another unique take on four-on-the-floor with the signature SLATIN metallic modular synth.

“This track is 100 percent ready for heavy club rotation,” he said. And he’s not wrong. The warm, clank of his synth progressions and rumbling bottom-end pairs perfectly with the help of KG Man’s commanding vocal hook. It’s arguably one of his most refreshing records to date, and one that demands to be listened to with the volume way up.
