Absent Mind are back and yet again they’ve dropped another killer track. This time Canada’s Tropic Harbour has teamed up with Katie Laine for their blissful collaborative single "Oh No."
Both have seen success in their own solo projects, with Tropic Harbour (otherwise known as Mark Berg) playing alongside the likes of DIIV, Jessy Lanza and Homeshake. Meanwhile, Laine is the front-woman of indie-funk outfit Katie & The Wildfire as well as part of the groups Pike and Marona.
"Oh No" is the perfect mix of electronic blissed out sounds and pop vibes to create a downtempo track that complement Laine’s stunning vocals perfectly. She says: “This song was written in a time of heavy contemplation about the decision to whether or not to continue a relationship. It reflects on the emotional sacrifice it takes to love, and feel loved by someone.”
