We’ve been keeping our eye out for more releases of new PHASEONE since he announced his LP earlier this month. Now, our wishes have been granted with "Transcendency," an electrifying thirteen-track collection featuring PhaseOne’s diverse array of sound.
PhaseOne is one of those names you might think you haven’t heard of, but you definitely have. This Australian native has been dominating the bass scene since 2013 with a unique take on bass music production. He founded himself within the dubstep community with a range of remixes and unique originals, forming his own distinctive style by mixing heavy metal elements with heavy-duty bass. Rising above generic dubstep bangers and catchy bass house, PhaseOne is an inspiring beacon of hope in what has lately been a saturated genre.
Featuring a huge diverse range of collaborators from Modestep, Northlane, Koven, Thy Art is Murder, We Are The Free to Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, "Transcendency" shows just how many tricks PhaseOne has up his sleeve. Featuring punchy bass wallops, thick basslines, and grimy static rips of bass house, this EP has it all.
