For the past eleven years, Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival has nestled itself into Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Each year, hundreds of thousands of people flock to the Sunset District for a weekend of food, drinks, and music.
2019’s iteration of this iconic gathering will happen on August 9, 10, and 11. With tickets already on sale, it’s guaranteed to be an adventure that will suit just about any taste. Fans can feel good about the impact of Outside Lands, too: each year, they increase their waste diversion rate and implement changes for the betterment of our environment. Outside Lands encourages attendees to make use of reusable mugs, cups, straws, and water bottles, and use public transportation/shuttles. What’s better than feeling good about your fun?
This year’s musical talent includes a rare performance by PAUL SIMON, whose performance proceeds will be donated entirely to local environmental non-profits. Other headlining acts include CHILDISH GAMBINO, TWENTY ONE PILOTS, THE LUMINEERS, FLUME, BLINK-182, KYGO, Anderson.Paak & The Free Nationals, LEON BRIDGES, KACEY MUSGRAVES, and LIL WAYNE.
When not listening to the incredible musical artists at one of the many stages, attendees have a variety of activities to choose from. Outside Lands welcomes back the Grass Lands area, focused on cannabis. There will be The Barbary, which houses comedy shows and speakers from podcasts.
Outside Lands tickets start at $385 + fees for a 3-day General Admission ticket. Other options include VIP and various shuttle passes. To grab your access to this San Francisco tradition, head HERE
