The story could not have written itself any better. Hours before his biggest headlining show, MADEON’s 'Good Faith' album dropped. This, without a doubt, was the triumphant return fans had been waiting to see for the past four years.
“This is the most important day of my life and I’m so happy to be spending it with you,” he expressed to the crowd.
The stage design comprised of a single, large screen that served as the background. Thematic visuals of the Good Faith era were cast across this screen; technicolor, heat map landscapes and photographs, and typographic visuals were absolutely stunning. The cohesiveness of the album artwork, with the production made for a seamless, thoughtful experience. Lights bordered the stage that filled the venue with equally as vivid colors. Madeon sood in front of the screen, flanked by two light up tables for his decks and keyboard. A single mic stand that also lit up stood in the middle. Madeon was often cast as a silhouette against the vibrantly colored backdrop.
The set opened with Summer hit All My Friends and first single off the ‘Good Faith’ album with Madeon singing live vocals. He then took us on a euphoric and warm journey through the entire album, alongside mixes of older hits including “Pay No Mind,” “Imperium,” and “You’re On.” Madeon closed with a personal favorite, his massive collaboration with PORTER ROBINSON, "Shelter."
His energy couldn’t be contained as he jumped to the music, lifting his arms as he sang. He often spoke to the crowd, breathless and with gratitude.
“I’ve been dreaming about this moment for years and I’m having the time of my life. I can’t explain what it feels like,” he said.
