Shortly after doors, LA-based Midnight Kids took the stage. Their rise in popularity began with remixes from THE CHAINSMOKERS, NOTD, LOUIS THE CHILD but until recently remained anonymous. Upon the release of their first single "Find Our Way", they revealed that the duo consisted of
Kyle Girard and Dylan Lee, son of Tommy Lee and Pamela Lee Anderson. Midnight Kids set the night off with a great set, soaked in their youthful energy. Their set included their second single "Serious" feat. MATTHEW KOMA as well as remixes of SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA’s “Don’t You Worry Child, MARSHMELLO’s “Silence,” and a mashup of ZEDD’s “Beautiful Now” over ODESZA’s “Late Night.”
When it was time for Loud Luxury, the floor was packed and the air was buzzing with anticipation. Aside from their smash hits, Loud Luxury has become known for their crowd-pleasing sets. The same dynamism they exude in large festivals was not lost on the more intimate Fox Theater. The crowd never stopped dancing or singing along to most of the set. Higlights included “Love No More,” a remix of Kid Cudi’s “Pursuit of Happiness,” MEDUZA’s “Piece of Your Heart” and SILK CITY’s “Electricity” with Dua Lipa. The encore garnered lots of excitement as Loud Luxury saved their international smash hit “Body” for last.
The ‘Nights Like This’ tour continues on until November 24. Make sure to catch Loud Luxury with special guests CID, Dzeko, MEDUZA, Bijou, Black Caviar, Frank Walker, Justin Caruso and Midnight Kids on select dates. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit their official website.
