After the incredible success of their first LP 'Drink the Sea' almost three years ago, the uber talented instrumentalists and producers Justin BORETA, Ed Ma and Joshua Mayer, known individually as BORETA, EDIT and OOAH, have gotten back into the studio as THE GLITCH MOB to bring us their Sophomore LP, 'Love Death Immortality'. The new LP is out in stores February 11th through their own label, Glass Air Records, but if you pre-order the album today on iTunes you can snag yourself a free copy of their latest smash single, 'Can't Kill Us'.
'Can't Kill Us' is equipped with those rhythmic, screaming synths and crisp, glitchy bass that we've all grown to love from THE GLITCH MOB. Now in their Sophomore effort, their track has a more heavy metal feel and is layered with an industrial, bassheavy soundscape that establishes a darker, more mature sound to be echoed throughout the LP.
Next March, THE GLITCH MOB will kick off their North American tour fully equipped with the amazing production from Martin Phillips of Bionic League; he's the man behind the unreal visuals for DEADMAU5 and DAFT PUNK, so you know it'll be theatrically rich in eye candy. According to EDIT, “The whole experience is going to be personally curated by us. We’re designing really cool video-interaction apps to integrate the experience, really letting the audience in on what we’re doing onstage.” Which can only mean one thing for the fans - an epic show not to be missed! So far the tour dates only span the East Coast; check back soon to see if any West Coast dates are added!
