Jordy Saämena, aka GANZ, has been a staple of the global electronic music scene for the past few years. Now he’s back on Quality Goods Records to release his latest EP, "Lost Boys," and the six-tracker once again furthers his reputation as one of the world's most intriguing beat-makers.
Having burst onto the bass scene seven years ago, GANZ has been increasingly in demand as a touring artist as well as a genre-switching creator – remixing the likes of Flume, Snakehips and Alison Wonderland along the way. Existing within the trap/future-bass world but with a style that is uniquely his own, the EP has some stellar cuts including the boom-tastic title track, the energetic ‘Fairy Dust’ and lead single "Rufio’s Theme."
GANZ explains: “I’ve learned to take more risks, sound-wise. I’ve tried a lot of different sounds and directions – of which a lot didn’t make me happy and didn’t feel like ‘me.’ This made me realise I needed to stay more close to myself, search for the next version of my sound and purely focus on the feeling I get when working on new music.”
This is a true artist who continues to grow and evolve with every release. Make sure you check out the "Lost Boys" EP below and keep up to date with all things Quality Goods Records too.
