For years, AUDIEN has been a tastemaker in progressive house music and on September 21, he brought his extensive repertoire to Denver’s Temple Nightclub. All three floors were packed with people singing along as the LED-lined walls and ceiling illuminated the space and danced along to the music. As the Temple team describes, “all theatrical lighting and production elements were conceptualized and designed for the entire room to act as a single organism pulsating to the rhythm of a single heartbeat,” making for one of Denver’s top tier nightlife venues.
Attendees were treated to a set full of his classics, recent singles that harken back to his signature progressive house sound, and massive hits from the likes of ABOVE & BEYOND, VIRTUAL SELF, ARTY, even Coldplay, and more. Highlights included his single "Favorite Sound" featuring ECHOSMITH, Above & Beyond and SEVEN LIONS’ "See The End", "Ghost Voices" by Virtual Self, and the recent release of Arty’s remix of the OneRepublic hit "Future Looks Good". His live mashups are unparalleled and this night was no different; pairing 2013 anthem "Wayfarer" with Above & Beyond’s "Sun & Moon", "Hindsight" with ZEDD’s "Beautiful Now", and even Imogen Heap’s “Hide and Seek” with his Grammy-nominated remix of Bastille’s "Pompeii".
Earlier this month, Audien released a brand new single "Buzzing" featuring Nevve, which was also played during his set. “Buzzing” is the first single off his forthcoming album. He will also be embarking on The ESCAPISM tour, which will feature a brand new stage design and production. For more information and to purchase tickets visit Audien's website/.
