Born in the Netherlands, Yasmin le Bon became totally immersed in music as a teenager, exploring the sounds of different styles like house & hip-hop.
One of her best friends was the No.1 turntablist of the moment. She was completely overwhelmed about the technique he used to produce distinctive sounds and beats. He thought her al scratching techniques with Vinyl and within a short period she had her first gig, 8 years ago now. She set out DJing in different clubs as a hiphop/r&b DJ.
4 years ago she finally found her “thing” within House music. Yasmin Le Bon has created a sound of her own that embraces groovy house, tech-house & progressive. Her sound is one to remember her by, as it’s uniquely combined. Groovy baselines, combined with a progressive techhouse sound.
Yasmin le Bon is now internationally known for being driven by music and her presence keeps every dance floor filled easily. She’s has performed at large events such as Housexy by Ministry of sound, Pacha and THE REBEL CLUB.
As the first Dutch DJ she played at one of the biggest clubs in Italy “Area Venezia” in Venice, with DJ’s playing like Joey T.Vanelli & Radioslave. She played together with Sebastian-ingrosso/">Sebastian Ingrosso @ Franchise and was the headliner in “Vanilla club” in Switzerland with headliners like Erick Morillo & Laid Back Luke. This year Yasmin le Bon will deliver more (Dutch) dopeness to the dance floor. Cities confirmed for the next months include Rome (Italy), Venice (Italy), Turin (Italy), Malaga (Spain), Istanbul (Turkey), Ankara (Turkey), London (UK), Jakarta (Indonesia), Singapore and Locarno Muralto (Switzerland)
And last but not least Yasmin Le Bon had her own dance program BLENDED on national Radio CAZ!; every year the BLENDED festival attracted over 25.000 people on the beach of Holland!
The last 2 years she invested in producing her own tracks. She has spent a lot of time in the studio and this resulted in her first releases “Ravi” and “Rotation” at the Sneakerz Muzik label. She’s the first female producer/dj ever signed on the label.
Her plans for the forthcoming months are very promising, in which her collaboration with the legendary Hank Shocklee (founder of Public Enemy and producer for artist like Sinnead O’conner, Madonna, ‘shaka kahn and Janet Jackson) is one to be on the lookout for!
