Walt Rosati has never chosen to hide behind a stage name… He has let music take the lead… A Toronto native he quickly established himself as a mainstay of the Canadian DJ scene as teenager. Playing his first “all-ages” parties in 1982, he was a key player in organizing a thriving club scene which survives today, driven by new talent.

In the early days Walt showcased his strong abilities technically and musically. Playing the soulful sounds that would ultimately become the foundation of house music, he began to play alongside some of dance music’s brightest stars: “Nu Civilization”, “Snap”, “Sound Factory”, “The Cover Girls”, and the list goes on. With a sound that was more on the edge, more appealing, a dedicated following, Walt quickly became a favorite at Toronto’s larger “Glam” clubs. Focused on playing for the crowd, and guaranteed performer, poised Walt as a favorite of nightclub industry insiders. His dedication, professionalism and talent shine through, as every residency held has proven to be a successful, long running club night.

Always focused on bringing the crowd first cut music from around the world, his residencies show the flexibility of his style, ranging from hard driving Trance and Progressive House to smooth house grooves with a tribal flare. His talents have also been showcased via “Live to Air” broadcasts on Toronto radio stations such as Globalgroove Network, 103.5, Energy Radio, Power 88.5, and multiple internet radio streaming sites.

Walt currently holds two residencies playing for over 3000 clubbers weekly in the cities most respected venues: Viva Nightclub on Friday nights, with a harder brand of music, boasting one of North America’s largest Vertex sound & lighting club systems, attracting many international guests such as “Johan Gielen”, “Marco V” and “PVD” to name a few. Saturday nights he can be found at Lotus Nightclub, cities Premier club of distinction, also with a long list of international guests such as: “Layo & Bushwacka”, “Dave Seaman” and “John Aquaviva”.
