Biography

Alpha Male is VOID’s 3rd studio album. VOID are Tamir Regev & Oren Emmanuel, two extremely talented musicians whose musical career started over a decade ago, joined by Ophir Levi, a recent addition to VOID’s full band live show, who plays oriental influenced guitars on many of the album’s tracks.

VOID first emerged from the chaotic Israeli psytrance underground scene, teaming up with Skazi’s label, Chemical-Crew, releasing two critically acclaimed studio albums, a compilation, and numerous singles, tracks, remixes in dozens of compilations.

Throughout the years VOID stamped their passports in almost any given destination on the planet, their distinguished tight and heavy sound was heard from the smallest underground party to the biggest festival stages, leaving casualties in the crowd, enslaving fans year by year to their monstrous, rock driven tracks.

Tamir & Oren are also known as two thirds of the stand-out trio, The MegaBand, with their partner in crime, John “Eskimo” Ford, whom they constantly tour with and continue to explore the known boundaries of the hardcore dance and drum & bass sound, stretching the limits of studio work and live shows to the max.

Alpha Male is the offspring of VOID’s newly & updated musical agenda. It is one of the most unique & innovative electronic-rock albums of the decade with oriental riffs that will capture your senses and hit your ears. The process of selecting material to this sensational album took a considerable time and was carefully hand picked, showcasing what VOID has become – a true electronic-meet-rock-trance live band.

Few highlights of this album are without a doubt VOID’s re-inventing Infected Mushroom’s classic “Forgive Me”, “Keep It Kosher” with Eskimo, “Solitary” & “Lock & Key” that bring forth Tamir & Oren’s singing skills, “Y.M.I” which fuses Linkin Park influences, the electro-gothic “New Day”….and much, much more.
