When V-ROY in 2001 bought a mixer and turntables he was immediatly in love with dancemusic. After a year experimenting with vinyls from big guys like Tiësto he would make dancemusic by himself. He bought his first Roland Synth in half 2003.
V-Roy did some keyboard lessons when he was at the age of 7 but he couldn’t read notes on paper, he played by feeling (trial & error) and connected his tape recorder to the keyboard, recorded some ideas till
he bought his first professional Roland Synth in half 2003, impressed as he was, the gear was very expensive so he was looking for jobs to earn money for more synths, studio effects and mixers.
In March 2008, when V-ROY is 14 years old, he signed a recorddeal with Actuate Recordings. The most of V-ROY’s productions will be released on that label. Special thanks to ‘Actuate Recordings’ ! In July 2008, V-Roy made a remix of Endless Wave from Kamaya Painters and he send it to dj Tiësto himself. One month later he found his remix in Tiësto’s playlist. V-Roy’s dream came thrue! He get’s support from the number 1 Tiësto! After that, he build a completely new studio with tons of power onboard for high quality productions. The latest V-Roy tracks have some support in Club Illusion lier from Jan Vervloet
January 16th ‘09: V-Roy sign the Bonzai Records label with his new tracks called ’Ice Age’ and ’We’ll Never Give Up’
2011 – V-ROY played various times in club Déjà-Vu (Blankenberge) and from there he got invited to perform at DNC (Gent), club Paradise (Antwerpen), The Zoo (Hasselt), club Montreal (Leuven) and at Circuit (Heusden-Zolder)
Over that time bpm’s got a bit slower.
In his studio he worked on a new sound and learned a lot of techniques of composing, mixing and mastering.
The sound changed from trance to progressive and deeper house touched by some techno caused by a bigger impact in clubs.
2013/2014 – V-ROY is working on a full studio album.
New tracks will be released in 2015, probably on the new After Recordings label.
