Westwood is the most recognized Urban DJ in the UK and beyond. He is regarded as the most influential figure in hip hop in Europe and as a pioneer of the UK scene.

Tim holds the number 1 Urban show on Radio 1 & 1Xtra, broadcasting live from London every Saturday night. His YouTube channel has over 180 million video views, and his twitter has over 400,000 followers. He has a close working relationship with all of the major urban artists from Jay Z to Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj to Drake. Tim constantly tours the UK performing 4 – 5 nights a week.

Westwood presented Pimp My Ride UK – the most successful MTV UK production of all time and the second highest rated show in the history of MTV Europe, and it is still shown in every country in the world. He has sold over 2 million albums to date with the biggest selling urban compilation in history.

Throughout his career Tim has won many awards, including the 2010 Radio Academy – John Peel Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music as well as many Sony Radio Awards and MOBO awards. In 2012 Tim won the Global Spin Awards for European DJ of the Year.
