Oliver Portamento and Alex Powell have music running through their veins, from days as event organisers to their top level production and unforgettable DJ sets, these two fuse influences from Oldskool, HipHop and Rave with current genres like House, Electro and Dubstep to name a few. Add into that chopped vocals, colossal breakdowns and you have a true melting pot of anything that they know will lift the roof off!

Other big names in the industry weren’t far behind Kissy in noticing these guys unique and outstanding talent. Tiesto snapped up their remix of “Kryder – K2” to release on his label “Musical Freedom”, successful releases on Southern Fried, Dim Mak and Champion Records, support from Radio 1 continued and was followed by Capital FM and Kiss FM along with a list so long of supporters like Judge Jules, Calvin Harris, Plump DJs, Annie Mac, Krafty Kuts and Steve Aoki if we listed them all it would rival War and Peace!

Their current gig list fully cements them into the superstar status with a monthly residency at Judgement Sundays in Ibiza to their names, an appearance at The Word DJ Festival in South Korea, not forgetting to mention playing for Ministry of Sound, LMP Presents, Fabrik and the Afterparty Warehouse Experience out of their bulging diary!

The Squatters aren’t one to rest on their laurels either, having just launched their label “What’s Your Status?” which is sure to amass a back catalogue of blinding tunes, they will be celebrating this new chapter in their careers with a World Wide Tour to each corner of the globe ensuring no country is in the dark about The Squatters’ energy, talent, beats and kick ass production.
