TAB (a.k.a. Tab Hunter) began to recognize his talent and love of music from an early age, which lead him to begin to seriously rock the turntables at the age of 14. Today the
28-year-old native of Toronto wins over his audience by flowing with them to create an awesome party flow. Considered an improvisational DJ, he is not one to plan out a play list for his sets. Known also as the dancing DJ, he feeds off the vibe and bounces to the tracks he spins while controlling the turntables with quick ease and grace. TAB hasnt finished his performance until all of his vinyl is covering the DJ booth; this live DJ has no time or inkling to stop the flow! Fellow DJs and fans often mistake his tight remixes as being produced through three turntables rather than two. There is no doubt that TABs performances have to be experienced live to feel the full effect.
TABs unduplicated style has influenced the Canadian DJ community into a more competitive mode within the club scene. TABs vinyl crates contain the very best of R&B favourites, booty tunes, old school tracks, hip hop releases, reggae sounds and top 40 hits, mixing it up like very few have heard before. His versatile skill and talent expands across all musical realms with the sounds of alternative, house, dance, jungle music and even rock in his portfolio.
