Sulvida is a DJ and Producer from San Diego, California. He always had a passion for music, and after begging his parents started playing piano at the age of 5, which he continued through high school. As a freshman at Cal Poly, he began experimenting with DJing in his dorm, and shortly thereafter began playing at friends’ parties and local events. While his interest in electronic music stemmed from his high school days, he truly discovered his passion in 2010, with one of his major influences being Skrillex’s debut EP, “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites”. He became obsessed with the different genres of dance music, and it was around then that he decided to try producing his own music.

By the end of his time in college in 2013, Sulvida realized that electronic music was more than just a hobby, and that he wanted to do whatever he could to make it his career. Two weeks after graduation, he left everything behind to move to New York City and attend Dubspot to train professionally as a music producer. During his two years spent in New York, Sulvida was able to DJ at some of the most prestigious venues the city has to offer, including Webster Hall, Stage 48, and Hudson Terrace, to name a few.

After finishing at Dubspot, he moved back to Southern California to pursue music full-time, and started 2015 by releasing a slew of remixes in the Progressive House, Trap, Dubstep, and Drum & Bass genres, including his remix of “Chief” by Party Thieves & ATLiens, which received support from ATLiens themselves.

Sulvida has had the opportunity to play with some of the most well-known names in the dance music scene, including Dada Life, Firebeatz, 3LAU, Blasterjaxx, and ETC! ETC!, amongst many others. His years of experience in traditional DJing help ensure his productions are club-ready and will keep the bodies moving. As he continues his musical journey, he’s sure to make an impression with his live skills as well as his evolving original sound.
