Seattle native Jerel Bromley aka Sublo began his musical career performing classically on double bass in Orchestras since the age of ten. An ear for dense melodic compositions and sound design lead to an obsession with electronic bass music and in 2005 he began investing time and money into instrumental production. Influenced heavily by dub culture, Sublo crafted a unique sound which blends the variety of influences ranging from Baroque to Drum and Bass. Signed to Shift recordings in 2009, Sublo has quickly become a key producer in the west coast bass scene, further signing onto Phantom Hz, Gradient Audio, Hot N Heavy Recordings, and Brap Dem. When not slaving away in the studio, Sublo keeps busy opening for acts such as Rusko, Joker, Emalkay, DZ and others, holding down residencies for Ritual and Redline crews in San Francisco. A keen sense of sound design and addictive melodies are the only expectation; the sound of Sublo has become defined by keys, grimey bass and slapping percussion with a heavy sub that runs as low and loud as possible…
