Stanny Franssen’s musical infatuation started with electronic body music and new wave, both styles already drawn form ’80 electronica (Nitzer Ebb, Front 242 ?!) Stanny started young his first gigs at the age of 16, mixing mainly acid techno sounds from implants such as UR and +8. The music bug just kept on going and so records were bought and the need to produce grew.

After intense work exploring this new arena, several demo tapes were sent to record companies such as Big Time International. Together with Bart Grinnaert and Laos Mezzaros, the project ‘Propionic’ was born, resulting in three subsequent releases on Reload. With several other projects on the horizon, of which ‘Cronical Re-Form’ and ‘G F’, Stanny has production as no.1 priority.

Two full albums got released: “Electronic Lesson 1” and “EL2”, both receiving superb comments from international music press and dj/producer colleagues. ‘Electronic Lesson 1’ reached the no.1 spot in Sven Vaeth’s chart, a big achievement for the early days.

The winning combination of Stanny’s unique skills and exposure widened the horizons for new contacts and projects.

During one of his road trips, Stanny met the much-revered Italian producers Marco Carola and Gaetano Parisio. The chemistry was right, and so “The Fifth Galaxy” ep on both Zenit as Ante Zenit (ltd) and ‘Between the lines’ ep got released on Conform by end ’98.

And so many releases saw the light on diverse labels such as Intense, Kobayashi, Zync, Skunkwork, Molecular, Countdown and new releases on Primate.

The timing couldn’t have been better for a Stanny Franssen label, Genetic Records, with the first release “Absolution” ep under his alias G-Force Feb ’00.

With several productive corporations, such as Franssen vs Lowdown projects (releases on Carl Cox’s Intec stamp, Rotation), Bad Pimps (with Patrick Lindsey), Monika Kruse, and Tomaz.

Next to his own releases, Stanny finds time to accept remix requests from distinguished producers like DJ T-1000, Samuel L Session, and Jamie Anderson amongst others.

The sound that is Stanny, coming from Napoli techno, is evolving with sways with old skool / German invasion (minimal) / melodic techno but all with the Franssen attitude. A master on three decks, Franssen’s blistering dynamic set is underpinned by the raw organic funk of innovative productions.
