German producer Normen Flaskamp is producing techno & house music for many years now. He was working under different project names, releasing on different labels. He did remixes for artists such as John Dahlbäck, John Acquaviva, Robbie Riviera, DJ Chus, Danny Tenaglia, Francesco Diaz & Gui Boratto just to name a few.
End of 2006 Normen Flaskamp decided to start his own label to release his very own powerful melodic techno/tech-house sound: Parquet Recordings was born. The alias Solee was created especially for this occasion and the first production “Impressed” was also the first release on the new label. The reactions were massive and “Impressed” got support by many international DJs, was re-released and licensed exclusive to Italy & Benelux and included on a lot of high-quality compilations like “Cocorico CD” (famous italian techno club) mixed by Oliver Koletzki or the well-known “Club FG Zemixx” sampler mixed by Joachim Garraud. All the big dance music magazines featured it as one of the hit singles for 2007! Follow-up singles like “Different” or “Timba” got brilliant reactions from all over the world.
The first Mix-Compilation “Neotrance Essentials”, compiled and mixed by Solee on Electronic Label “Wax N Soul” had many fans and was “CD of the month” in Berlin based “Partysan” magazine! For the remix of Danny Tenaglias Ibiza hit „Dibiza“, Solee received massive feedbacks from international DJs and magazines and reached a top-ten position in the tech-house charts of the most famous DJ download shop Beatport.com!
Since the beginning of 2008, Solee is more and more on the road as a DJ in Germany and even whole Europe. So he was able to convince the crowds with his melodic techno and tech-house sound in international in-locations, like Berlin based cult-location “Tresor”, the “Salon Roter Oktober” in Schwerin, "Electrokution” in Marseille or the “Dokk Club” in Budapest…
