The Sharp Boys are Steven React and George Mitchell.


Over the past 7 years they have guested at some of the UK’s most incredible clubnights and events including:, Ministry of Sound (London), DTPM @ Fabric (London), Dusted (Pacha), Space (London), Progress (Derby), The Zap (Brighton), The Gallery (London), Garlands (Liverpool), Pussycat Club (Brighton), Salvation (Café de Paris), The Cross (London) & Miss Moneypennys (Birmingham), Space, Pacha, Manumission, El Divino and Eden (Ibiza) as well as festivals such as; Creamfields (Wiltshire), the Radio 1 Love Parade (Leeds), Purple In The Park (London), Summer Rites (London), & Mardi Gras (London). Not forgetting their five year residency at the infamous “Trade” afterhours night at the world respected Turnmills club where the created the “Trade Lite Lounge” – a funky alternative the pioneering harder sounds from the main floor at the club!

George and Steven are now weekly resident DJ’s at the following London clubs “a:m” (Saturday after hours at Fire); “Element” (every other Saturday evening at The Collosseum) and “Orange” (Monday after hours at Fire), with forthcoming guest spots lined up at “Riot’s 3rd Birthday” at the End in London, “The Sydicate” in Blackpool and a brand new bi monthly residency at “Smartie Partie’s” new clubnight at Turnmills.

To say that the boys are excited about their new “Fusion” residency at the all new legendary “Fridge” nightclub would be the biggest understatement of the decade! “…Working with Craig from Orange has been a breath of fresh air…” Steven Sharp recently commented adding “…The whole team from the production staff to the security guards, the lighting and sound guys, the other DJs to even the people that collect the glasses in his venues are so dedicated to their jobs! It’s a fantastic environment to work in…!” George adds “The makeover we have witnessed at the Fridge is quite incredible and we cannot wait to hit those decks on that new 50 k sound system on Mrch 19th!…”

They currently run the monster monthly club night “Royal House” on the second Saturday of the month at the world famous “Heaven” – where they spin a mammoth six hour set. The night is set to celebrate it’s second birthday on March 13th 2004! In December 2003 they hosted and DJ’ed at the first monthly French version “Maison Royale” in association with “Finally” at Elysee Montmartre in Paris to a crowd of 1800 people!

George and Steven are also weekly resident DJ’s at the following London clubs “a:m” (Saturday after hours at Fire); “Element” (every other Saturday evening at The Collosseum) and “Orange” (Monday after hours at Fire).


In January 2004, George and Steven broadcast the final edition of “The Sharp Saturday Night Invasion” (11pm – 1am) on kiss 100 after five years and three months with the station. Throughout their career at Kiss George and Steven endeavoured to keep the show fresh and exciting, mixing the hottest funky house music from all around the world with their unique humour and banter. Established popular sections of the show included “The Razor Cut Of The Week” and “The Sharp Midnight Mix” whilst the boys introduced new features on a regular basis. One recent successful addition to “The Sharp Saturday Night Invasion” has been “Sharp Session”. An opportunity for some of the biggest stars in the world of dance to join the boys for a 30 minute non stop mix and an exclusive interview. Guests have included: Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers, Junior Jack, Carl Cox, Boy George, Basement Jaxx, The Pet Shop Boys, Nile Rogers, Dannii Minogue, Joey Negro, Erick Morillo, Harry “Choo Choo” Romero, Tim Deluxe, Jose Nunez, Lisa Loud, Brandon Block, Lottie, Danny Rampling and David Morales.

With a busy international DJ diary The Sharp Boys have regularly hosted their radio from foreign shores including: “Tonic” at Space in Ibiza, “The Ra club” in Las Vegas, “Code” In Tokyo, “Mezzanine” In San Francisco, “Trade” in Los Angeles, Winter Music Conference in Miami, “Slinky” in Sydney, Australia.

In July 2000 the boys were asked to record the “Essential Mix” for Pete Tongs Radio 1 show for the second year running – the show was later nominated for the coveted “Essential Mix Of The Year” at the 2000 Erikson / Muzik Magazine Dance awards. Other guest spots on radio 1 include a 30 minute mix with Danny Rampling. Last summer Steven and George played a live 1 hour set on Judge Jules’ show from the Gay Pride event in Hyde Park in front of 80,000 people.

The Sharp Boys are managed by Alister jamieson at “Ambush Management” (part of the huge 19 Entertainment group) who is currently in negotiation with various radio stations regarding the boys future plans on the airwaves.


The Sharp Boys are established music producers with over 250 remixes to their credit (including seven national number one singles) imputing their unique trademark funky house sound to the likes of the following artists…..Madonna, Britney Spears, Diana Ross, George Michael, Gloria Estefan, Craig David, Kylie Minogue, Aretha Franklin, The Backstreet Boys, Faithless, Moby, Mary J Blige, Janet Jackson and Luther Vandross. Most recently George and Steven have remixed new singles for Christina Aguilera, Rachel Stevens and Emma Bunton.
