Dj Seroz
Talented up and coming Australian DJ/Producer.
He lived and studied music on the West Coast of Turkey Izmir – Istanbul, Kusadasi, Bursa and Ankara and is now based back in Sydney.
At an early age, Dj Seroz was captivated by the sounds of House and Techno music, which resulted in him being influenced by artists like Tiesto, Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk and Armin Van Buuren.
In early 1994, Dj Seroz was educated by the finest Dj’s in Turkey and worked at clubs as a light Dj for over a year. In late 1995, he received his first pair of turntables and started his gigs at the biggest clubs in Bodrum – Kusadasi – Izmir – Ankara – Istanbul. Within a few months he was titled “Sly” and was the one to call to Dj the local house parties. As time advanced, he moved on to being known as
“Dj Seroz”.
He managed to find himself captivated in worlds of everything from deep house to techno. In 1998 he began a Bachelor of House music, where he discovered computers and sequencing. Via this foundation he could officially be called a Dj and producer.
Seroz produced and enabled Rumbatech to be born. “Rumbatech” represents Seroz for who he is, how he feels and understands music. If you listen carefully, the colours of Rumbatec paint a perfect picture of personality, comfort and expression. Rumbatec itself is a form of art.
As well as releasing work under his own name, Seroz has released different projects: The ProDJuiceR, Club On Fire Vol.1 & 2 (COF), Corbalogy album and DTA Productions.
Throughout the late 90’s and early 2000’s, Seroz found himself influenced by some native instruments of Middle Eastern countries like the Dabruka, Zurna and Davul, all genres of dance music and Dj’s.
Dj Seroz manages to take you on a voyage. He takes you to a world you have never known, where his music is absorbed in to your veins and travels throughout your entire body. You don’t move to the music – the music moves you.
