On August 9th 1945, America dropped the Atomic Bomb on Nagasaki, Japan.
Then 32 year later, on the same day in 1977, DJ Ryuhichi was born in the same place in the land of the rising sun. Ryuhichi spent his teenage years listening to all types of music from the 70’s and 80’s. He always had a special interest in House music, so at the age of 16, Ryuhichi began his career as a House DJ. He became a local favorite by the age of 18 by spinning at many parties and events. He developed a larger following when he played as an exclusive sound engineer and promoter to the famous Disco legend “MAHARAJA” in Japan. Ryuhichi continued to build and work in Japan until 2006, when he decided he wanted to get a taste of the NYC scene. So in March of 2006, DJ Ryuhichi moved to NYC and started his own production company, New Classic Entertainment. After some networking in the NY club scene, Ryuhichi started to gain the recognition from the club promoters.
