RM Bergmann aka Rick Michael Bergmann is a Trance, Progressive and uplifting House DJ/Producer as well as Director of rising independent dance music label Stereo FX. With over a decade of experience in Dance music, Rick plays his unique, well-developed and exciting sound on London™s dance floors including: Ministry of Sound; Pacha; Gigulum; Arcadia; The Raving Buddha, and stretching out to Kanya, Ibiza.
DJÃng started at the young age of 13; by 17 RM Bergmann got his first gig in a night club and from then played at various night clubs in Johannesburg, including Sutra. During this time Rick was coming out with various Progressive & Trance productions which he gained much support and many fans.
In 2005 the track “RMB – Dreams” was released as part of the UK unsigned top 20 compilation. The following year in 2006 he started his own independent Dance label Stereo FX run out of his fully equipped Recording Studio. The following year Rick signed a remix deal with Shmuel Flash (from the Flash Brothers) & Huge-A for his hit track “RMB – This Time” which was then released on vinyl worldwide, and supported by the Flash Brothers and Thomas Penton.
From 2007 through to 2009 Rick continued to push his label by signing popular up & coming artists such as Frangellico, Vinayak^A, Federico Monachesi and Joe Fisher. Rick provided captivating Progressive House remixes for their tracks which found support from Gerardo Boscarino and many more Proton & Frisky Radio DJâ€™s. Rickâ€™s remixes were charted by various DJâ€™s and was approached to do guest mixes and radio interviews on international radio stations like Techno FM, Global Beat Mexico, RadioFree Italy.
In mid 2009 Rick relocated to London, UK and soon began to get involved in Londonâ€™s nightclubs and 2 Live Radio interviews @ Hoxton FM and Kane FM. Rickâ€™s sets at Ministry of Sound prove him to be an exciting, entertaining and enjoyable DJ to watch and experience on the dance floor.
