DJ Rik Stylz. One man that is not new to the scene. Rik is from where many people consider the capitol of the world, “New York City.”
Rik has been DJing for over 15 years started small little weddings and sweet 15 parties, and of course house parties. From there Rik knew he had a talent to make people move with his music. Was not long after that was Rik DJing in clubs not even old enough to get in to. Rik Stylz soon enough was a house hold name in the Austin Texas scene where he decided to really push to being a DJ. Rik first gigs were not small opening up the night for Texas most loved DJ D:fuse at the first Moonshine Over America Tour. Along with Keoki and Mico.
From there Rik was a resident at one of Texas number one night clubs the Red Room later to be called the Velvet. From there Rik work with Noah of Ark Ent. And help worked and DJ at some of the biggest events to ever come to Texas. Opening up for Paul Oakenfold at the South By South West Fest. Along With other Greats like Moby and Carl Cox, and of course George Acosta.
Rik then later moved on to Flux ent along with system-7 mgt. @ great production crews in Texas. From there Rik worked with Event Horizon Studios there Rik started to produce his own sound. Working with the Roger “the master” Williams which is best known for his work with D:fuse. Roger and Rik started hammering out the tracks one after another. Rock-n-Bass Recirds out of Austin picked up the signal “Tears” a trak both Roger and Rik produced. The track got charted twice and did real good at the Wmc. Riks new Track Breathe is on the works to be released along with a new Progressive track thats been in the works. Be on the look out for Rik Stylz new CD out on Rock-n-Bass Rec. in Dec. of 2003.
