Biography

Ridiculous Nicholas came up in the Philly drum and bass scene where he started going to parties in ’95 at venues such as 1415 and Skyline. In ’99 he moved to the East Bay of San Francisco for two years. It was at this time he bought his first set of decks and started playing house parties. Ridiculous first started spinning at clubs in 95 and maintains a residency at the monthly event Double Vision in Philly. Inspired by such DJs as Gilles Peterson, Coldcut, Mr. Scruff, Ridiculous spins many different styles in his sets ranging from downtempo, dub, breaks, house and what ever else he thinks people will feel at the moment.
