Rachel Lyn is a rising starlet who is already leaving her mark on the international House & Techno scene. She has a distinctive dark and happily twisted underground sound that transcends the genres of Minimal, House & Techno. November 2013 saw Rachel drop her ‘This is not love’ EP on Monika Kruse’s ‘Terminal M Records’ and the collaborative track ‘I Am One’ with Pig&Dan was in the Top 10 on Beatport’s Tech House chart for six weeks. The vinyl release went on to reach the number one spot No.1 at Deejay.com.
Recently Rachel has been specially selected by Damian Lazarus to play at the GET LOST 2014 party in Miami alongside the Crosstown Rebel all stars. This year’s festival circuit will also feature Rachel Lyn globetrotting across the world as a staple feature at some of the most cutting edge events on offer. Upcoming releases include a three piece EP for Air London with remixes by Kris Wadsworth. The eagerly anticipated A side track ‘Flower Parts’ was strongly supported by Richie Hawtin throughout last year’s European Summer and is planned to hit the record stores in the spring of 2014.
Inherently international, the Australian, Chinese & European Rachel has spent a great deal of her life traveling abroad which is why she is so strongly adapt to the busy schedule of an internationally appreciated DJ. Before moving to London she spent many years in Milan where here love for the underground music scene began. She has now relocated to London where she regularly plays but she is still thinking globally with bookings sending her around Europe and down under to Australia.
Things are looking up for the young and determined Rachel Lyn and it’s only the beginning.
