Biography

Lance (Purple Haze) got involved in the rave scene, spring of ’93 in Florida. As an avid dancer and music lover he traveled across the state attending parties from ’94 till ’98. In March of ’95, while living in Tallahassee, Lance began his career as a DJ. He established a successful promotion company, RE-UNITE ONE PRODUCTIONS, and this facilitated his fast track to success. By 1997 Lance had performed at every nightclub in town and also received a Wednesday night residency at C.P.A. (Central Park Avenue). In May of ’97 he moved to Boynton Beach, Florida and began spinning on the radio (WILD 99.5). For one year he had Friday nights from 9 pm -12 am broadcasting “sounds from the underground”. When Lance moved to Atlanta in June ’98 he began actively promoting himself and his music in a whole new market. At first it was a tough go, however over the last few years his name and popularity has spread.

Since moving to Atlanta, GA; Lance has played for production companies like: Mirage, Outerlimits, Liquid Groove/Liquified, Pleazure, Plur Planet, Vinyl Boy, Iris/esp101, Speaker Junkies, InnerSpace, Pulse, and Hopetribe. He earned residencies from InnerSpace, plurplanet, iris/esp101 and others.

Lance has played along with such djs/producers as: Christopher Lawrence, Kimball Collins, Micro, Rob E, Skylab 2000, Adam Starr, Andy Hughes, Anthony Pappa, Frankie Bones, John Debo, James Christian, Dave Trance, Huda Hudia, dj Feelgood, Prophecy, Moda, Icey, Tracy, keoki, and many others.

Although Lance plays many different genres of music, he finds that progressive house/trance are his signature styles. When behind the turntables he brings seven years experience, slammin dance music and a high-energy performance sure to get any crowd moving. Keep your eye out for this up and coming talent!
