Poupon has come into a distinguished sound of his own by looking forwards (to techno), backwards (to classic R&B & House), sideways (to tribal) and down (to deep house). His work has received support from fans and peers alike such as Brodinski, Lazaro Casanova, Camel, Panton, Prince Club, Nic Fanciulli, Malente, John Roman, and Solo. His debut EP ‘Full Time Lovin’ on petFood music received impressive reviews and found itself on the top 100 Deep House downloads on Beatport. His remix work on Meati & Meechs’ debut EP on Discobelle ‘Bock’ made its way onto numerous charts, festival sets & mixes throughout the summer along with his other remixes for Malente’s No Brainer Records, and Bird Peterson on Discobelle Records.
Poupon strives to keep his sets fresh, always hunting for and creating new music. Poupon has shared the stage with respected artists such as Riva Starr, Zombie Disco Squad, Fake Blood, Prince Club, Nacho Lovers, Panton, Calvin Harris, and The LOL Boys. He knows how to evolve a groove, and keep a crowd moving far past the lights coming on.
