Pete Njagi born in Nairobi Kenya starting “laptop dj-ing” from the tender age of 14 at local school events and small gigs in Kenya. By the age of 16 Pete was a backstage dj for the MTV Africa awards hosted by zain in early 2009. Pete later on went to Canada for further studies and then begun producing his own “elctro vs hip hop” mashup tunes which later became massive big room tunes around the town of Hamilton. At 17 Pete played a 1 hour set list in the week of Armins “State of trance 450” celebration hosted club guvenment curtain raising for artists such as David Guetta and Sander Kleinenberg. Right now Pete is trying continuing to focus on his studies and trying not to “NEVER drop-out” out as he claims as he continues with big room events with artists such Major Lazer and the Crookers hopefully scheduled late 2011 and continuing to open for artist such as Kissy Sell out. In future Pete hopes to produce more songs and “keep doing what he’s doing” and hopefully he would come to see his name in lights hopefully.
