Biography

Paul Walker started spinning at the age of 15. By 17 he had his first residency at Legends nightclub in Manchester City where he played Hip-Hop, Jazz Funk, Retro and House. Paul worked in a record store all day and DJed nights all across the UK. In 1990 Paul found himself leading packs of cars to illegal warehouse locations just outside Manchester. “The vibe was real, people wanted to party, when they got into the space it was utter jubilation mate.” By the age of 22 Paul was promoted to General Manager of Unity Records a subsidiary of Eastern Bloc Records in Liverpool, located across the street from Cream. Working as his assistant in the store was none other than his own booking agent Dave Ralph. Paul has played all the big clubs alongside all the best DJ’: Paul Oakenfold, Grooverider, Carl Cox, Sasha, Grooverider etc…. In 1996 Better Days Productions brought Paul to Toronto to headline their party, it was this set that made him a legend in Toronto. Paul returned to the city often and he enjoyed himself every time. It didn’t take long for Paul to make his move and he decided to make Toronto his home. With him, he brought his store Eastern Bloc Records. With Paul at the helm, the store has seen great success and recently Paul started a sister Company “Fully Loaded Record Distributions”. Paul’ sound is original, deep housey trancy techno. He has a lot of influence from the UK, Sweden and Germany. Call it what you want, but you can be certain of one thing, Paul will make you move.
