I’ve never been a big fan of Bio’s. They usually say the same kind of things and I usually find myself not really taking in the ones I read after the first few lines. It’s difficult to really think of what people would really be interested to know. So with that in mind I’ll try not to ramble on, even if that is one of my favourite Led Zeppelin songs.
I’ve pretty much grown up with Trance music through my teen years. After being introduced to compilations, such as Trance Nation and Gatecrasher Digital, I was hooked. After searching for more DJ sets from the likes of Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk and Dumonde, I was inspired to buy my first set of Turntables. At 16 years old I felt like a kid in a candy store (cliché alert!). It was a golden era for trance and one I was lucky to see. I was often waiting nervously in the queues of clubs like Gatecrasher, GodsKitchen, Promise and Sugarshack; hoping not to get ID’d. Sometimes I failed, but it was worth it! In recent years I took a break from Trance to explore other types of music like Electro and Techno, but Trance is my first musical love and inevitably I will always come back to it.
I’m an introvert at heart, so for years I’ve been hiding in the shadows, working on my skills and trying to develop my skills and my own style. Now at 25 and with my first EP released, it’s time to put myself out there in the world. With my recent release getting support from the likes of Giuseppe Ottaviani, Lee Haslam, Robert Gitelman, Vast Vision, Flash Brothers, Mark Pledger, Lisa Lashes, Michael Angelo and many more, I’m looking eagerly to the future and hoping that future releases will get that same support.
