Biography

OLIVER GARCIA is standing on the turntables since 1994, back than with electronic music LPs. This led him to house music very early and also to club culture. His Latin spirit and his club experience sets him aside from other DJs. Oliver Garcia brings together different influences: Frankfurt – New York, his Hispanic roots and though this he rocks the dancefloor.

Global, Funky, Twisted and Tribal-House all over the world: Oliver is surely one of the most busiest DJs in the German house scene. His homebase is Frankfurt, starting point for many international DJ acts. Beside that it is difficult to pen point Oliver. You can listen to fresh housetunes mixed ‘Garcia styled’ in regular intervals in the most german cities. There is a long list of references which is ever growing in number even though the country is overswimming with house DJs and the clubs became more choosy with there selection of DJ acts. Most of the clubs don`t simply look for famous names but look for quality in first line. Quality that you hear in the sets that Oliver plays even also in the TUNE/New York meanwhile.

Best known in all clubs of his hometown he even works for the Frankfurt radiostation ‘Planet Radio’. Here Oliver Garcia is one of the different residents in the weekly ‘Ministry of Sound Radioshow’. Together with guests like Mousse T, Jamie Lewis, Bob Sinclair or DJ Pippi he is on air with this 2 hour show.

Oliver, who is working as an DJ since 11 Years is not loosing the wind in his sails. Despite of his busy schedule he built up his own studio and is planning his music future. First test CDRs are out already. His followers can look forward to more Oliver Garcia productions on vinyl.

Wherever Oliver Garcia is on the turntables – radio, club or open air festival, there surely should be enough room to dance. The pushing sound is driving the audience to the dancefloor – directly in to the heaven of housemusic.
