The last couple of years have been very busy for Noir (real name Rene Kristensen).

Producing and djing since 1996, he gave up his daytime job in 2003 to focus and concentrate on his dj and producing career.

In 2004 Noir spend most of the time in the studio and signed up with Lifted Music for various productions; most of them now signed to major labels.

In 2005 Noir got his debut with signings on Toolroom Records, WYZE Records, OXYD Records, Deeplay Music, Ego Music, Montana Entertainment (Morjacs label), Warner & Bonnier etc.

His release on WYZE Recordings – All About Housemusic went no. 6 in the Buzz Chart on Pete Tongs Essential Selection and was in the top 10 sales chart on Traxsource for 3 weeks. The track had amazing reviews and support from some of the greatest djs all over the world.

2006 seems to become even more exiting with releases on Toolroom Records, Deeplay Soultec, Montana Entertainment and many more. Some of the tracks include collaborations with the likes of Roland Clark, Kathrine Ellis, Grant Nelson and remixes of Noir tracks by artists like: Ian Carey, Chris Lake, Paul Harris, Sex On Monday, Public Domain, Olav Basoski to name a few.

Noir produces and remixes under different aliases such as: Noir, Decaff, Black Magik, Premier, The Soul Flava, RNK

Noir got his first residency in a club called Rendez Vous playing everything from Hip Hop, soul, 70s funk to House & techno. After 3-4 years of intense djing he narrowed his set down to playing only House.

This brought him another residency and the chance to start up a house club V4 which is now (and has been for the past 5 years) one of the finest and most popular clubs in Denmark.

V4 was nominated Club of The Year at The Danish Deejay Awards 2003 and Noir himself was nominated Upfront Deejay of The Year at The Danish Deejay Awards 2004.

After hosting his own weekly radio show Groovecouch for about 3-4 years, Noir decided to stop because of lack of time. The demand for guest sets to radio stations all over the world is still growing though.

Noir has been playing alongside some of the worlds greatest djs through the years and is now djing all over the world and known for always trying to break new tracks and set the clubs on fire with his energetic dj sets.
