Nicolas Nucci Beatport

Nicolas Nucci discovered House Music in 1991. Dj Pierre and the wild pitch movement was a huge revelation for him. At the age of 18, he acquired turntables and vinyl. His first sets at the underground club Calao in Britany turned over the dancefloor and oscillated between Angel Moraes, Roger S, E-Smoove and the Murk boys. He quickly became the resident and A.D of the club. In 1999, the French annual Techno event “Astropolis” opened its doors to him. Nicolas found himself mixing along side Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk) and many more of the most famous French and International DJ’s to a crowd of 10,000 tech addicts! While in England in the year 2000, Nicolas discovers the sound that powers him today: Progressive, Deep Trance, Deep and Tribal House. His influences include Digweed, Sasha, Renaissance, Global Underground, Lexicon Avenue, Peace Division, G-Pal and Deep Dish.

By 2002, Nicolas settles in Paris and becomes resident in the transitory but emblematic Friday party at the Nombril Рa UFO cabaret of Pigalle quarter. Faithful in his own music style, he imposes his beats and affirms his technique. Each friday night, the expert audience talked more and more about his name and his sets. He then was playing in famous Parisian clubs and bars such as Le Nouveau Casino, Mixer bar, Le Quai, on the K-Lounge barge and the Caf̩e du tresor.

In 2003 Nicolas met Jean Luc Carron, one of the biggest french promoters. A new great partnership was born. The Parisian organizer of the famous “Fluid” party at the Queen Club gradually entrusted significant evenings to him: Man Machine @ La Scene Bastille , Body Bumper @ Queen Club and finally the residency of a monthly Sunday After, ‘UNDER.’ Thanks to Nicolas’ music, ‘UNDER’ became the brand new rendez-vous for all guys from all of Europe.

In 2005, Nicolas and his sister created the Progress! Parties @ la Scène Bastille. Every Sunday night, more than 800 clubbers are come to the Nucci’s fiesta to live a pure Progressive orgasmic experience with Nicolas and the other Progress! Djs. Nicolas has been elected, for the second consecutive year, ‘Best Dj’ by PinkTV (the biggest Gay and Clubbing TV station) and Progress! ‘Best Party’

2006 proves to be a busy time for Nicolas as he prepares himself for worldwide exposure at some of the most prestigious parties worldwide including Rapido, Naughty, Strong and La Demence in Brussels, Finally On Tour in Amsterdam, Circus, Parking and Stereo Bar in Montreal, Nightkomm and Greenkomm in Cologne, Moa Club in Geneva and in the best French clubs (Elysées Montmartre, Queen, Les Bains-Douches, Renaissance at Redlight, Dolly Party @ St Tropez etc’)
