Hailing from the Southwest of England Nick has Immersed himself into many areas of underground dance music now for over 15 years.
His long running hard trance event Hindsight has recently celebrated 11 years in the game and his dedication and hard work for the scene was notably recognised in 2010 when he won the Regional Hero Award at the hard dance awards in an international poll, and was also subsequently interviewed on Radio 1 by Kutski.
Nick can be found DJ’ing regularly up & down the country at some of the UK’s most respected clubs & events such as Frantic, Goodgreef, Riot, Bionic,
Atomik weekender, Uprising & Atmosphere to name just a few as well as his own Hindsight events in Torquay where he is also on resident duties.
2011 was an incredible year for Nick as he embarked on national tour to promote his highly acclaimed double CD album: Hindsight – The History which he
mixed himself alongside hard trance legend Mark EG. The Album which went on national sale in April 2011 gained rave reviews including the much coveted Mixmag Compilation of the Month & has since sold out well ahead of demand!
In recent years Nick has been making waves in the party capital of the world – Ibiza, with main room sets for Judgement Sundays @ Eden & Cream @ Amnesia and in 2011 also featured on the lineup at Carl Cox’s closing party @ Space not only demonstrating his enviable versatility as a dj but musical maturity as he approaches the milestone of 31 years of age.
Production wise his tracks & remixes have made it onto major compilations such as Goodgreef Xtra Hard, Ministry Of Sound’s Hard Dance Awards album & also Hard Dance Anthems from Tidy Trax which made it to a staggering no 26 in the official national album charts. Many of his productions have been championed by Kutski on his Radio 1 Show and also gained fantastic reviews in Mixmag, I-DJ, DJ Mag, Core Mag & 247 to name a few!
In recent years he has tracks signed ^& released on Tidy, Tranzlation, Tech FU, Hindsight, Friction Australia and collaborated with artists such as Fj Project, Kevin Energy, Luca Antolini, Digital Self & Tek-Tonic, Joe.E, Singer Anna Mcdonald and many more!
June 2012 will see the launch of Nick’s new label Hindsight Blue which will cater for his massive love of trance & progressive, there are already a pile of releases
from some big names & also some new talent plus Nick will be using this as a platform to showcase some of his new material which has already picked up big support from names such as Armin Va Burren, Markus Schulz, Tydi, Vicky Devine, Jordan Suckley & More!
2012 is shaping up to be a very exciting year for Nick already with two imminent trips to Ibiza in the diary where he will on both occassions be playing main room slots for Judge Jules’s larger than life party Judgment Sundays at Eden alongside Ferry Corsten & of course Jules himself.
He is also in talks regarding playing some of the other larger nights on the island as we speak re gigs this summer!
During the weekdays Nick can now also be found working full time for digital download giant Trackitdown at their London headquarters as a content & label
manager, a role that has really excited him and switched him back onto working within music full time again and enabled him further in his quest for finding quality music!
Never one to be pidgeon holed Nick’s diary for 2012 has already seen him on a 4 date tour of Thailand back in April in which he played the World Famous Full Moon Party on Had Riin beach! and back on home turf a diverse selection of apperances have ensued which demonstrate Nick’s open mindedness & very versatile approach to all forms of EDM!
Gigs this year already include Goodgreef, Storm , Bionic, Ripsnorter @ Motion Bristol, Toolroom Knights @ Ministry Of Sound, Full On Ferry @ Brixton Academy (Main Stage) and more recently Nick warmed up directly for Radio 1 legend Annie Mac at the Radio 1 afterparty in Torquay!
Finally Xmas & New Year will see him make his first trip down under as he undertakes a series of shows under the Hindsight banner and alongside hard trance legend S.H.O.K.K (One of Nick’s biggest influences) who will be doing his final ever Worldwide dates due to him retiring from the scene!
