Miss Sabado is an emerging DJ/singer/songwriter/producer coming out of Brooklyn’s underground dance music scene.
She is a classically trained pianist with musical influences that range from funk, soul, blues, jazz, freestyle, R&B, west coast hip-hop, Chicago house and New York garage, to name a few. Her love for dance music culture reflects this vast array of musical influences, blending classic styles with the freshness of modern electronic dance music, creating a story full of color, texture, and lots of body shakin’ elements.
Miss Sabado is currently singing, songwriting, and co-producing her first studio EP, scheduled to be released this year, 2017.
She will be launching her first weekly music podcast radio show called “Saturday Mass with Miss Sabado”, a throwback to Larry Levan’s dance floor sessions at the Paradise Garage.
She is also the creative genius and muse behind the Miss Sabado x Modern Vice “After Hours” collection— a series of boots designed for nightlife, dance music, and party culture, launched during Fall Fashion Week of 2015.
