Biography

“Take a minute and think about one thing. Life without music. That is why I DJ.”

Nothing excites Michael more than to step up to the masses with their hands in the air, dancing to the beat, just waiting for the experience they are about to receive.

Born Easter Sunday 1980 in Honolulu, HI, but raised on the sunny beaches of Ft. Myers, FL, is where Michael’ education and love for music began. Playing the trumpet from the tender age of 9 and experimenting with the tuba, baritone, and even the French horn, Michael dominated and displayed his skills like no other. It was not unlikely to see Michael at the top, attaining lead solo positions and acquiring many awards for superior performances. What you heard was not just sounds that the instrument produced. It was music coming from the heart.

It wasn’t until November 1999 when Michael first learned of Electronica music and the Rave/Club scene. Going to his first party in Nashville ([email protected] 8th Day) and then to other parties in Louisville, Memphis, Atlanta, and New Orleans, Michael soon fell in love with the music and how much impact it could have on someone’ life. After witnessing the true power of music through the inspiring set of Kimball Collins, Generation Trance 2000 [email protected], Atl, he knew then which direction he wanted to take in life. Within six months, Michael began playing out, creating his own signature style and finding out where his true talents lie. It wasn’t long after when clubs started seeking him out. Taking a Saturday night residency in the Lava Lair at the Outer limit was a big accomplishment for this new talent. Since then, Michael has rocked numerous events all over Nashville, including Chrome Nightclub, Banana Joe’, 328 Performance Hall, Transit Nightclub, Club Excess and Orbit and Nashville’ hottest after-hours, Katatonic, as mentioned in such magazines as MIXER and MIXMAG. He has also had the chance to play with some of the biggest names in the industry. BT, Dave Seaman, Charles Feelgood, John Acquavia, DJ Rap, Jon Bishop, DJ Enrie, Micro, Dave Aude, D:Fuse, and Michael Myers are to name a few, along with the best locals the Southeast has to offer. It is Michael’ mission to move the dance floor, mind, body, or soul every time you hear him.

“There’ nothing stronger in the world than my love for music.”
