Dani & David Vizcarra, they are the Mechanical Brothers aka Dani & David.

These two brothers were born in the mid-eighties (Dani 1983, David 1985) in Igualada, a city 60 km from Barcelona.

Since teenagers, they have been interested in hard, dark and alternative music from heavy metal to punk or rap.

Later, they began to go out with their friends to house and techno disco techs, but they didn’t think it was their style.

After they went to raves and discovered hardtechno music, that became the starting point from which they began to be attracted to DJ’s and the electronic music world.

They then formed the Mechanical Brothers in April of 2008.

Dani was the DJ, and David was the producer.

Dani V started to spin the decks 4 years ago at that time influenced by artists such as Cristian Varela, Valentino Kanziany and some others. After discovering Hardtechno he changed his style and the way of mixing, to sound like that of DJ Lukas, whom dani has received some tips from. Also, Dani have done permormances versus Adrian Lezama spinning with 4 decks and 2 mixers.

David Uve, started with Reason but then, he changed his software to Ableton, with the influences of DJ’s like Dj Lukas, Fernanda Martins or Motormorfoses a.k.a. Eto & Gab, with whom David had been contacting throughout the year of 2008.

Also, they have been created with Adrian Lezama the Night Killers project, a party collective, being monthly residents of Vogue Club in his town.

Nowadays, they are exchanging the roles inside the group, while David enters in the mixing world and live act; Dani is starting to make some tracks.
