Born and residing in Birmingham, UK, Matt Holliday is fast becoming known as one of the UK’s leading and most versatile underground artists. His love for music is endless and his ability to produce almost any genre is incredible. His first release was a remix of Perpetual Feat. Tiff Lacey ‘Restless’ released with Enhanced Progressive in 2010 and supported by Paul Van Dyk. Shortly after came his debut single Feat. Mque: ‘Your Touch’ also on Enhanced Music and supported by Above & Beyond.
In late 2011 Matt launched his own record label ‘Vacate Music’ releasing not only his own productions but also fresh new talents. With support from Giuseppe Ottaviani and The Flash Brothers Vacate Music is going from strength to strength. As well as producing trance under his own name, he is well known for producing many styles of music including house, electro, complextro, dubstep and ambient. As you can see, he has no fear of crossing the boundaries.
2012 looks to be a promising year and has already seen the creation of his new tech-house alias ‘Judas’. The first release will be his remix of DJ Christ ‘Pay The Bill’ due to be released on one of the Recover World labels. 2012 will see the release of many tracks and many new projects including his debut on Discover Deep ‘San Antonio Bay’ and a brand new project with Les Hemstock of Hemstock & Jennings producing melodic, uplifting and vocal trance.
