Since bursting onto the Buenos Aires electronic music scene, as a tender 16 year old, Martin Lamelas has matured into a stylish performer, a well respected artist and established DJ. Martin’s natural style natural energy emphasises his innate mixing talent to captivate any crowd.

Martin is a natural entertainer, understands his crowd and most importantly loves what he does, he always plays with a smile on his face, and when is in control of the decks he knows how to make a good party.

Martin switches in between genres with ease as he sets flow naturally, flipping between deep house, classic house, techno and progressive beats. . His high octane groove appeals to the masses and can be characterized by his subtle bassline, his free attitude and his creativity and experimentation in live mixing.

A man for all occasions, Martin has held residencies in numerous clubs in Buenos Aires, and has enthralled both local and international crowds while sharing the booth with well-known international djs such as, Richie Hawtin, Anthony Pappa, Oliver Huntemann, Adam Beyer, Guy Gerber, & Mistress Barbara to name a few.

Martin’s musical influences are varied and diverse, with Afro-American music playing a major role in his early years. Martin’s early affection for soul and motown nurtured his musical taste and broadened his musical taste from an early age. With such a solid starting point, Martin’s influences evolved over time from 80’s, funk, early electro, right up to Detroit’s dominance of the house scene.

From the beginning Martin played in many popular clubs, festivals and parties in Buenos Aires. Martin has now established himself into the local scene with a huge acknowledgment for his part in the South American Music Conference.
