X Fader is the first Indian DJ to independently release and produce original singles/compositions in terms of Asian/Urban Fusion and Rap. He is also the first Indian DJ whose music videos have made it to all three international music channels in India – VH1, MTV, 9XO. He has also been featured on MTV Roots consecutively for two weeks. In 2014, X Fader’s singles – C’mon My People and ‘Bekhabar’ have also made it to MTV’s new channel – Pepsi MTV Indies. C’mon My People has also recently been on the Top 20 most popular music videos.
First Indian DJ whose music videos have been on regular rotation on 4 Mainstream/Urban Channels in UK & Worldwide -Channel AKA, Starz, Clubland TV (UK and Worldwide where broadcast is available).
His DJ mixes have featured WORLDWIDE on the BBC several times. His latest mix tape premiered on the BBC last year in Sept. and has reached over 9K plays on his soundcloud profile page. Before that, he also did a live ‘Sholay’ tribute mix for the BBC.
Performing at various multi-genre events and club nights, X Fader once again proves to be a diverse and versatile Producer/DJ as his recent Club House/EDM DJ mix reached the TOP 50 WORLD charts on Mixcloud.com. He has been featured as a BBC Introducing artist (2012). In the past few years, X Fader has been travelling between the UK and India (and now also U.A.E) performing for various club nights and events. He has just come back from the UK where he performed at one of the most exclusive venues of London – Hyde, Kensington on 5th of May. Before that he performed for one of the biggest Indian music events/festivals in Europe for the forth year in a row – ‘Holi Land’ Music Festival in London. Attendance this year and previous years have been over 3000 to 4000 people. He will be again performing in the UK on the 30th of June once again at Hyde, Kensington and also on 1st of July in Birmingham at Prisma Nightclub.
X Fader also recenlty performed at Playboy Club-Hyderabad, did a 3 city tour with 10 Downing Street (cities included Chennai, Bhopal and Indore); also performed at Moonshine, Hybrid and Zai in Delhi. In September, he also performed three nights in Dubai at The Hubb, Melia Hotel.
Last year in March, he also did another Holi event in Gurgaon on the 24th of March 2016 which was an exclusive event attended by around 1500 elite people of Gurgaon and Delhi. Zabardast Hit 95FM in Delhi was the radio partner for the event.
Apart from that, for the last couple of years, he has performed at venues like Bonbonniere – London (Winner of best new club 2015), also played for one of London’s most exclusive New Years Eve Party at Wyld Club, W Hotel, Leicester Square – London in 2015-16; NoirW1 – London; Altitude 360 – London, the legendary Geat Suffolk Street Warehouse and Mega-club – Studio 338, London.
Before Nov. 2014, he was in India performing for various events all over. In India, he was a regular feature at Kitty Su performing almost every Saturday, since June 2013 till November 2013. Other artists who performed on some of these nights were International DJ’s/Producers like Cedric Gervais, Deniz Koyu, Michael Calfan, Orla Feeney, Dinka, Kryder which are more EDM centric.
In 2014, since February, he was a regular feature at Shiro performing almost 3-4 nights a month until July 2014. Other clubs where he recently performed in India include Buddha Bar, Moonshine (HKV), Hybrid, Zai, Cafe High 5 (HKV), Sutra (Cyber Hub), ASOM (A State of Music), Zerzura, Madness, Skooter, Coopers, Shroom and Vapour.
Previously in the UK, he has performed for some of the most exclusive venues of London like Morton’s Club (Mayfair), Babble Club (Mayfair), Project (formerly Merah club), Apres club, Yatra (Mayfair), Mahiki, Guilt Bar and Lounge, Bar Rumba, Sin Nightclub, Browns, The Edge, Opium; and in Birmingham – Buddha Blue (Formerly Peppers Bar & Lounge), Birmingham’s most exclusive Cocktail Bar and Lounge – Pushkar. He has been the Resident at ‘Cafe Yatra’ (Thursday’s & Saturday’s) between 2003-2007, in the most exclusive area of central London – Mayfair, which was regularly visited by Bollywood actors, directors/producers and other Indian Celebrities. This also made me the first DJ recruited from India to perform in a London club.
X Fader also performed recenlty in Goa, Jodhpur, Gwalior and Agra. Last year he was also involved in the sound installation for a new club in Goa.
Before that he has had small successful tours in India for example between 18th Feb. and 4th March. These were Private and corporate events in Delhi, Jalandhar and Goa.
Also in 2011, he performed at various corporate, private and club (Capitol, Vapour) events in India including Xmas Eve and New Years Eve. Cities then included were Delhi, Ahemdabad and Jaipur.
