Lune is the brainchild of singer and lyricist Linnéa Martinsson.
“Lune is a project where I combine different art forms with the ambition to reach out and communicate with people” she says. “I like to see it as an art project that evolves depending on who takes part in it.”
Besides the music, Linnéa is active within the realms of performance art – amongst other things she regularly perform with the progressive and critically acclaimed dance act Diggapony.
Previous musical appearances include vocals on “Teenage Crime” (A drian Lux) and the pre released Tiesto remix of “Girls with Bangs”. The song “Private Admission” was also featured in “Take One”, the documentary about Swedish House Mafia.
“Lune is not a regular house act but when I heard it I immediately knew that it was a project that I wanted to get involved in” says Sebastian-ingrosso/">Sebastian Ingrosso (Swedish House Mafia), who will release Lune on his newly established alternative indie label Music Box. “It’s a project that one shouldn’t try to influence too much – it really has it’s own unique qualities that shouldn’t be tampered with”, he continues.
