Biography

Lucky Charmes is making serious waves in the global music industry with an exciting new groovy house sound

he has a load of productions waiting to be released.

He already holds his place in the Dutch dance scene and he is about to fullfill his worldwide ambitions.

You can put this multi-faced DJ/Producer behind any turntable and he will express what music is all about. His recent release of ‘Your Light’ featuring the lovely MC Divine on Flashover recordings is supported by Oliver Heldens, Laidback Luke, Ferry Corsten, Chuckie, Swanky Tunes, Dimension, Darin Epsilon, Rowen Reecks, DJ Falk (Sunshine Live), Andrew Wilson (Capital FM) and more. He has a history of releases on other big labels like Spinnin’ Records, Mixmash Records, Cr2 Records, Flashover recordings Sony Music, Universal, Blackhole recordings, Dirty Dutch Music, Samso beats, Vicious and offcourse his own label +31 Music!

Playing the drums laid the foundation for his love for rhythm and beats and turned out to be a solid base for his career. Which started with a helping hand from Erick E and after that he has shared agencies with Hardwell, Rehab, Vato Gonzalez and Nicky Romero. When he produced ‘Getcha Damn Hands Up’, he reached #1 in the Dance Tunes Top 100 chart and #8 in the Beatport charts, receiving tremendous support from DJ’s such as Bob Sinclar, Fedde Le Grand and Roger Sanchez. Follow up releases ‘So High’ and ‘Plain Dots’, both released on Samsobeats, also went through the charts and could count on frequent plays from Axwell, Sidney Samson, Gregor Salto and others.

Through the years he gets impressive support from colleagues in the industry and the word of his performance spread to well-known venues as Jimmy Woo (Amsterdam), The Sand (Amsterdam), Escape (Amsterdam) and Now & Wow (Rotterdam). His love for DJ-ing and teaching others how to spin the decks is something he inspiringly demonstrates as a certified trainer at the Pioneer DJ School.

The gathered knowledge and skills he has for many different styles and his living and breathing for house music, has shaped his new groovy house sound. With this sound he attacks the global dancefloors and 2015 will be his biggest year yet.
