Victor Vildósola a.k.a KOI
Chilean producer, songwriter, live performer and guitarist, began his professional career in 1997 as the group’s guitarist Chilean Hip-Hop “La Pozze Latina”, a pioneer in the genre and it caught on with the singles “Chica Eléctrica” and “Pedro Navaja” a cover from Ruben Blades, of their 3rd studio album “Desde el Mundo de los Espejos”.
This album was produced by Colin Wolf (Dr.Dre, Madonna, TLC, Michael Jackson) and co-produced by La Pozze Latina, it was published in 1999 by the multinational BMG.
In your resume include various productions and co-productions like the remake of “Corazones Rojos” from the album Tributo a los Prisioneros in the year 2000.
The double album “Joyas del Barrio” from the year 2001 published by Fondart (National Arts Founds) winning project with the participation of renowned artists within the Hip-Hop scene as Seo2, Cramp, Troubadours Tales, Abstract, Mc Chico Claudio and Damadam among others.
In the year 2004 it became part of the line up of Mc’s as musical producer of La Pozze Latina until 2005 where it was reflected his latest material called Evidence.
Frontman, musician and founder of the group “Tranki” with which he released his first album “Sin Filtro” in 2008 and had as singles and video clips of the songs “24 Horas” and “Resplandor” followed by an EP in 2010 entitled "It ’ s On! "
It was in this group where he began fusing different genres with electronic music which led to a new project in collaboration with the drummer Abraham Yussef, tje proyect was called Preachers In Armani, Deejay with a proposed Performing with live instruments as acoustic drums, electric guitar, perctions and keyboards. All this background instrumental mixes managed to KOI be a very deep Tech House, and a Techno with lot´s of power.
Currently KOI is based in Mexico City doing his certification in Ablenton Live and producing for his first solo EP which will be a mix of House and Tech House with South American roots, fusing electronic beats with instruments characteristic of Latin America.
