Petrariu Iulian, known as Julianno, was born in Suceava, Romania on July 28, 1988. He first fell in love with electronic music at the age of 14 when the music produced by artists like Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, and Paul Van Dyk fascinated him.
Julianno’s first contact with the world of DJing came a few years later when he decided that his passion for music should be felt by the public at large. Shortly thereafter, he started to set up and participate in different events promoting electronic music, which he is still doing presently. The electronic music branches that he loves and adopts are trance, progressive-trance, tech-trance, etc. He especially loves trance because he says, “It is the mother of electronic music.”
Julianno has mixed and set up at different events in his native city as well as in other cities in Romania and in Italy. In January 2007, he performed for the first time in club Mokko (Italy) as a special guest. His performance brought him back to Mokko for later events. Julianno participated in the European Djs Contest with 24 international djs in the summer of 2007, January of 2008, and July of 2008. He was ranked top 3 in all the competitions. In June 2007, he was awarded 3rd place. In January 2008, he was awarded 2nd place. In July 2008, He was awarded 3rd place.
In August 2008, Julianno had the honor to be invited to mix at the House Parade Festival 2008 (Ploiesti-Bucov Beach). At this festival, he mixed on stage 3 (Trance Vibrations) next to Andy Moor. Also on Oct 18 of 2008 he made a wonderfull b2b with his friend Stefanno (Julianno b2b Stefanno) at Trance Vibrations in Timisoara, where dj?s like Ron van Gelderen,Rank 1,Alex Morph b2b Woody van Eyden ,Ali&Fila and D-Flux b2b Last Sequence were invited.
In December 2007, he started a new trance project known as “Seaside Dusk”. In March 2008, Seaside Dusk played on the Norwegian radio station Deviant Audio. The radio station has since been closed for unknown reasons. At the present time, Seaside Dusk takes place on Intensity FM every Friday starting at 8 p.m.
Julianno is also a part of non-governmental partnership called Youth Can Do It (night music) set up by djs and producers from Suceava. He thinks this newly started partnership may, in time, succeed both nationally and internationally.
Julianno is now working on his first production, hoping that soon it will be featured in today’s market.
