Roam Recordings label boss JP Soul started djing house parties and high school dances in the 80s. In the 90s he was known for his morning sets at raves around the Northeast and Midwest. He had weekly residencies for eight years straight starting at a night called Smack in Buffalo and then Liquid in San Francisco. In the early 2000s he, along with dj partner Chad Mitchell, started the Roam Recordings record label for which he has several releases. During this time he also lived at a popular studio and afterhours spot called Fresh located next door to the notorious dj bar The Top where he would also play frequently. At the present JP has been more prolific than ever in the studio with a number of releases out or soon to be released with Space Coast, Wolf+Lamb, Anthony Mansfield, 40 Thieves, and The Revenge.
