Jon Jai began DJing House, Breakbeats, Freestyle and Nu Wave in 1998. After attending to his first few Techno parties in the late 90’s, he was highly influenced to propagate the underground scene by DJing and spreading quality music on cassette tapes. In 2000, the rise of his indepenant promotion company and DJ association Transoholic NRG was formed strictly to promote Trance and Hard Dance Music in San Francisco, California.
As the passion for music continued to accelerate, he began producing electronic music and mashups/ blends. In 2006, he humbly accepted a runner up award in the audio category at the Media Arts Award Competition for his unreleased single “ReArp” compiled using the 1970’s classic monophonic ARP synthesizer. Jon Jai’s style was always considered extraordinary and unique as a producer and DJ . His signature style: Trance, Electro, Clash House and Techno as he calls this style: TECHT Music.
