John Destiny- a Brooklyn native, turned Producer, Remixer, and DJ has been creating driving and high-energy dance tracks and remixes for over a decade and has become somewhat of staple to California’s main circuit as well as the Burning Man community and underground dance music scene.
John’s ear for rhythm & track selection always effortlessly grabs your attention, hits your heart, and has you dancing like never before.
In 2013 he had a charting debut debut album, Back To My Roots which hit as high as 26 & 27 in both Deep House and Tech House on Beatports Top 100. He further solidified his talent with a stellar performance on the Favela Bar Stage at the 2015 Lightning In A Bottle Music Festival.
He has regularly performed at venues including but not limited to After- Las Vegas, Exchange- Los Angeles, Ghostbar- Las Vegas, Audio Discotech- San Francisco, The Grand- San Francisco, Vessel – San Francisco, Monroe- San Francisco, , The Cellar- San Francisco, Bubble Lounge- San Francisco, Slide-San Francisco, XL Night Club – NJ, Privilege – Las Vegas, and many many undergrounds through-out the East & West coasts.
John is adamant about staying true to an underground sound, in a genre that is suddenly becoming so commercial.
At the age of 7 John’s father (John L Gazzola) put a guitar in his hand for the very 1st time. By the age of 13 John was fluent in guitar as well as bass, keyboard, and the piano just to name a few. Without training and with the magic of musical inclination and raw ability, John started teaching himself music production.
From 1997-2004, before breaking his way into the night club scene as a Producer/DJ, John frequented NYC’s hottest night clubs such as the legendary Soundfactory, Twilo, Expo (Richie Says & Cafe Con Letche), Stereo, Exit, Carbon, Pacha, where who some of his biggest inspirations have performed.
