For Joey Mazzola music has always been a way of life. At the early age of 14, Joey found his true passion mixing it up on the 1’s and 2’s. Growing up in the Detroit Metro area Joey has been influenced by many talented artists, giving him his unique style that everybody can groove to. By the age of 16 Joey was playing regularly at local Detroit hip-hop clubs and parties. Very influenced by electronic music pioneer Jeff Mills, Joey slowly conformed to dance music, combining his scratching skills with a very modern techno sound. This giving Joey a very unique sound, that no one, will ever forget. Moving to San Francisco CA, at the age of 21 Joey found his love for House Music. Now 12 years later Joey has managed to achieve many of his musical dreams, bringing his sound nationwide with shows all over the country including Detroit MI, San Francisco CA, Seattle WA, Cleveland OH, Chicago Il, Miami FL, Honolulu HI, Portland OR, Los Angeles CA, and Houston TX. Joey is now resident dj at the world famous Club Ice in Las Vegas along with his other residencies at the Voodoo Lounge and the Brand new Club Jet in the Mirage. Joey has been playing signature four turntable sets with the likes of, Donald Glaude, Angel Alanis, Terry Mullan, David Garcia, DJ Doubt, and so many others. Joey has also been known for rocking the airwaves on the following stations, KYLD 94.9 Fm San Francisco’s House Nation featuring Saint John and David Garcia. After 18 months David and Joey left Wild to create they’re own show better known as Radioactive on KZQZ 95.7 Fm. Joey has now left radio but continues to make cameo appearances on WILD 94.9’s House Nation. Joey has released many dancefloor fillers that you can find available almost everywhere…Joey has a music style like no other, funky house beats of many styles mixed up with a bit of flawless scratching and a twist of his hip hop roots.
